Kites4Palestine Completes First Toy Distribution in the West Bank

In August 2025, Kites4Palestine proudly completed its first-ever toy distribution project in the West Bank, bringing smiles and moments of joy to Palestinian children who have endured so much hardship.

The toys distributed were lovingly collected across the UK through vigils, local drives, and generous donations from supporters nationwide. Each toy carried not just the love of those who donated it, but also a message of solidarity — a reminder to every child that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten.

The distribution was carried out by Dr. Samah Jabbar and Zainab Hinnawi, who helped ensure that the toys reached children in several different areas, including schools, care centres, and orphanages. While we are only able to share images from one of the classrooms for privacy and safety reasons, hundreds of toys were given out across multiple locations.

The children were given the chance to choose their favourite toys from a wide selection — a moment that brought laughter and excitement to classrooms and care spaces alike.

This project marks a beautiful milestone for us at Kites4Palestine, as it represents the love and unity between people in the UK and the children of Palestine. It’s a reflection of how small acts of kindness — like a single donated toy — can help lift spirits and restore hope.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who donated toys, spread awareness, or supported this initiative in any way. Together, we’ve managed to bring a little bit of light into the lives of children growing up under the shadow of occupation.
