At Kites4Palestine, our mission is to support Palestinian children, families, and communities through meaningful humanitarian aid, emotional wellbeing programmes, and awareness campaigns. Every donation you make directly supports initiatives that bring hope, care, and tangible change to those who need it most.

We work exclusively with our trusted partner, Banna Al Khayri, who delivers aid and coordinates on-the-ground projects in Gaza and other regions where Palestinian children and families have been displaced.

Donations are accepted online, in-person at events, or through direct contributions, and are applied immediately to active programmes.

Where Your Donations Go

Your support helps fund initiatives that provide:

All donations are applied directly to verified projects and delivered through our partner, Banna Al Khayri, ensuring they reach those in greatest need.

Impact of Your Support: 2024 and 2025

2024:
Your support in 2024 enabled us to achieve incredible milestones for children and families in Palestine:

  • Raising Awareness: We organised events and partnered with groups across the UK to educate the public about the situation in Palestine, spreading the message of solidarity and compassion.
  • Supporting Trusted Charities: We contributed directly to reputable organisations and verified local partners, ensuring that every penny reached those in need.
  • Community Engagement: Through vigils, protests, and awareness campaigns, we kept Palestine visible in public spaces, creating opportunities for supporters to act, donate, and stand in solidarity.

2025:

  • Provided emergency aid to families in Gaza, Lebanon, and several countries where there are displaced Palestinians, including food packs, hygiene items, and medical supplies
  • Delivered trauma-relief and wellbeing programmes, including therapeutic kite workshops (Healing Through the Skies) led by trained mental health professionals
  • Ran childhood joy initiatives, distributing toys (Toys for Smiles) and donated kites to displaced children in Gaza
  • Continued awareness campaigns in the UK to educate and engage the public

Our 2026 Projects – Active and Successful Initiatives

Building on previous successes, our current initiatives focus on projects with proven impact:

  • Emergency Aid for Palestine - Providing essential food, water, and supplies to families and children affected by ongoing conflict and displacement.
  • Emergency Aid for Sudan - Providing humanitarian support to displaced families and children affected by the crisis in Sudan.
  • Donate or Buy a Toy in Gaza - Supplying toys to children living in difficult conditions to bring comfort, happiness, and hope.
  • Winter Jumpers & Clothing - Distributing warm clothing to children and families facing harsh winter conditions in Gaza.
  • Winter Tents & Shelter Support - Providing new tents, tarpaulins, and structural reinforcements to protect families from flooding, cold, and harsh weather.
  • Rebuilding Homes, Playgrounds & Former Health Centres - Long-term reconstruction efforts to restore safe spaces and community resources for children and families.
  • Sponsor a Pet in Gaza - Providing food, water, and care for local pets and vulnerable stray animals affected by the crisis.
  • Mental Wellbeing Days for Children - Organising large group activities, snacks, games, and therapeutic sessions in partnership with Banna Al Khayri to foster emotional wellbeing and joy.

How Donations Are Used

  • Donations are applied to the specific project you select or, if unspecified, allocated to where the need is greatest.
  • Aid is delivered directly to verified communities through Banna Al Khayri, ensuring all support reaches children, families, and animals in need.
  • For updates, photos, and videos showing the impact of your donations, follow our socials and website regularly.

Refund Policy

  • Donations are non-refundable, as funds are distributed quickly to active projects to meet urgent needs.
  • Product purchases (online or in-person) follow our standard returns and refund policy, but the donation portion of any purchase is not eligible for refund.
