Our Commitment: 100% to Palestine

At Kites4Palestine, we are a 100% profit-to-Palestinian causes organisation and operate with a 100% donation-to-Palestine causes policy. Every penny we raise goes directly to Palestinian children, families, and communities in need.

We work in two ways:

  • Through our own projects – including trauma therapy programmes delivered by our network of doctors and mental health professionals, awareness campaigns, and other initiatives you'll see highlighted throughout our updates
  • Through our trusted partner, Banna Al Khayri – who shares our 100% donation policy and delivers aid and projects on the ground in Gaza and other regions

Where Your Money Goes – Directly to Your Chosen Project

When you donate to a specific project, 100% of your contribution goes directly to that project.

Whether we deliver it ourselves (like our trauma therapy sessions) or through Banna Al Khayri (like food distributions or shelter support), your donation is applied immediately to the initiative you selected.

If you make a general donation without specifying a project, we allocate it to where the need is greatest – always through our own verified programmes or via Banna Al Khayri's on-the-ground work.

How We Deliver Aid

  • Our own projects – such as trauma therapy, mental wellbeing days, and awareness campaigns – are carried out by our team or our networks, including qualified doctors and mental health professionals
  • Projects in Gaza and other hard-to-reach areas are delivered through Banna Al Khayri, a partner we trust because they operate with the same 100% donation policy as we do
  • All donations are applied directly to verified projects and reach those in greatest need

2024 – Building Foundations

Your support in 2024 enabled us to achieve incredible milestones for children and families in Palestine:

  • Raising Awareness: We organised events and partnered with groups across the UK to educate the public about the situation in Palestine, spreading the message of solidarity and compassion
  • Supporting Trusted Charities: We contributed directly to reputable organisations and verified local partners, ensuring that every penny reached those in need
  • Community Engagement: Through vigils, protests, and awareness campaigns, we kept Palestine visible in public spaces, creating opportunities for supporters to act, donate, and stand in solidarity

2025 – Expanding Our Reach

Building on our foundation, 2025 saw us deliver direct aid and programmes to families in need:

  • Emergency Aid: Provided food packs, hygiene items, and medical supplies to families in Gaza & Lebanon
  • Trauma-Relief Programmes: Delivered wellbeing initiatives including therapeutic kite workshops (Healing Through the Skies) led by trained mental health professionals
  • Childhood Joy Initiatives: Distributed toys (Toys for Smiles) and donated kites to displaced children in West bank and around the world
  • Continued Awareness Campaigns: Maintained our public engagement work in the UK to educate and inspire action

2026 – Active and Successful Initiatives

Our current projects focus on proven, high-impact programmes:

  • Emergency Aid for Palestine – Providing essential food, water, and supplies to families and children affected by ongoing conflict and displacement
  • Emergency Aid for Sudan – Supporting displaced families and children affected by the crisis in Sudan
  • Donate or Buy a Toy in Palestine– Supplying toys to children living in difficult conditions to bring comfort, happiness, and hope
  • Winter Jumpers & Clothing – Distributing warm clothing to children and families facing harsh winter conditions
  • Winter Tents & Shelter Support – Providing new tents, tarpaulins, and structural reinforcements to protect families from flooding, cold, and harsh weather
  • 🪁 Healing Through the Skies: Trauma Therapy Kite Workshops for Children – Therapeutic kite-making and flying sessions led by trained mental health professionals to support children's emotional wellbeing and healing
  • Sponsor a Pet in Gaza – Providing food, water, and care for local pets and vulnerable stray animals affected by the crisis
  • Mental Wellbeing Days for Children – Organising large group activities, snacks, games, and therapeutic sessions in partnership with Banna Al Khayri to foster emotional wellbeing and joy

Please note: The safety and dignity of the people we support is always our top priority. Sometimes we cannot share photos, videos, or detailed content from our projects due to safeguarding of children and vulnerable individuals. When we can share – and when it is safe and appropriate to do so – we will. Your trust matters to us, and we are committed to being as open as possible while protecting those we serve.

Refund Policy

  • Donations are non-refundable, as funds are distributed quickly to active projects to meet urgent needs
  • If you purchase a product (online or in-person), our standard returns policy applies to the product itself – but the donation portion of any purchase is not eligible for a refund
